Operator status

The company Alveox Services has received an agreement from the Autorité de Régulation des Communications électroniques et des Postes (ARCEP) in order to provide Hotspot services in France.

The authorisation under the declaration n°09/0904 allows Alveox Services to:

• provide wireless networks in public places in France
• emit in the wireless frequencies (2.4 GhZ, ...)
• keep logs of all connections to its Hotspots, for the minimum legal duration required in France

Alveox Services also declared its complete compliance with all legal requirements related to wireless tecnologies in public places in France, including limiting the emissions to authorised levels and on authorised channels in France.

Personal data and privacy protection

The company Alveox Services collects information provided by its Users, as they visit the Site Alveox.com. This collect may lead to:

- Generation of general statistics concerning web trafic towards the various areas of the Site Alveox.com,
- Sending to its Users emails: answers to enquiries, various information, or announcements coming from Alveox.com or its partners,
- Transmission of enquiries to its selected partners

Every User of the Site Alveox.com may ask, at any moment, that its personal information is not transmited to Alveox Services partners

Collection and treatment of personal information on the Internet must be done in the respect of fondamental rights of people. Consequently, the company Alveox Services commits itself to respect the policy established by the law n°78-17, 6 of January 1978, related to computing, files and privacy.

To conform to article 16 of this law, Alveox Services has provided a declaration to the Commission Nationale Informatiques et Libertés (C.N.I.L) .

Furthermore, according to the same law, each User of the Site Alveox.com has:

- a right to access (article 34 to 38, law of 1978)
- a right to rectify (article 36, law of 1978)

...personal data related to himself. He may exercise these rights by contacting Alveox Services, using the procedure described at the top of this page.

By the Article 29 of the same law, Alveox Services commits through best endeavours to protect Users personal data, including forbiding their modification, degradation or communication to any unauthorised third-party.

Alveox Services brings its Users attention on the fact it is their responsibility to deploy every mesure necessary to keep the confidentiality of their passwords, allowing them to access the various Alveox Services services. Computers connecting to Alveox.com servers may receive on their storage one or more light text files, commonly known as Cookies ». Cookies store information related to the navigation on the Site Alveox.com, from a computer where the "cookie" is stored (pages accessed, date and time of the accesses, etc.). They allow to identify subsequent visits from a unique computer.

Persons connecting to the Site Alveox.com have a right to oppose to the storing of "cookies". In order to do so, they may use the corresponding fonctionnalities on their web browsers. However, Alveox Services brings its Users attention on the fact that access to certain services of the Site Alveox.com may be altered, or impossible.
